I cannot express how excited I am to share this campaign with my district and the country. I’ve spent the last 10 years of my life understanding as much as I could about our government to be an impressive representation of my generation. I’m 27, tired, and ready for change. Like many of you, I see the dangerous path our country is on. This path carved for us centuries ago, bound to us like shackles round our feet. We cannot allow exploitation as a means of profit to remain our guiding principle. Never in human history have common people had access to the resources and expertise we do today. We must use them.
At the heart of this campaign is a simple but urgent question: What will our legacy be?
Whether we know it or not, the coming decades will be the most pivotal in human history since the Agricultural Revolution more than 10,000 years ago. The decisions we make now will cement humanity’s future for generations. The consequences of our inaction may never be undone.
I present a campaign that refuses to play into the political theater we have grown used to. Instead, this is a movement to chart a path toward collective liberation, one that guarantees we arrive at humanity’s true destination of purpose.
My name is Zeb Taylor. I am running to represent Virginia’s Third Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. I come from a generation whose futures were stolen. I represent a people whose pasts were erased. Most of all, I am committed to achieving collective liberation in my lifetime, and I humbly ask you to join me in this fight.
