Welcome to Phase 002

Every year is election year in Virginia. With authoritarian appetites growing, every political campaign, elected leader, and politician, whether they are on the ballot or not, should do all they can to turn out voters. We cannot accept anything less.

This is the 2025 Election GOTV hub containing everything you need to make an informed decision on November 4th.

Plan Your Vote

  • GOTV (Get Out The Vote) - The period after early voting starts up to the moment the last person in line at the close of polls casts their ballot.

  • First Day of Early Voting: September 20th

    Voter Registration Deadline: October 15th

    Absentee Ballot Request Deadline: October 25th

    Voter Reg. Office Early Voting: October 26th

    Last Day Early Voting: November 1st

    Election Day: November 4th

  • Registration Requirements:

    1. Be a resident of Virginia (a person who has come to Virginia for temporary purposes and intends to return to another state is not considered a resident for voting purposes).

    2. Be a U. S. Citizen.

    3. Be 18 years old (any person who is 17 years old and will be eighteen years of age at the next general election shall be permitted to register in advance and also vote in any intervening primary or special election).

    4. Not be registered and plan to vote in another state.

    5. Not currently declared mentally incompetent by a court of law.

    6. If convicted of a felony, your right to vote must have been restored.

    • Virginia driver’s license (can be expired)

    • Virginia DMV-issued ID card (can be expired)

    • Valid employee ID card, containing a photograph, issued by voter’s employer in ordinary course of business

    • U.S. Military ID

    • Valid student ID issued by a public or private high school or institution of higher education located in Virginia (Acceptable electronically if it was officially issued by the institution and expired less than 12 months ago. No photographs of your ID)

    • Valid student ID, containing a photograph, issued by a public or private institution of higher education located in the U.S. (Acceptable electronically if it was officially issued by the institution and expired less than 12 months ago. No photographs of your ID)

    • Valid U.S. passport or passport card

    • Government-issued ID card from a federal, Virginia, or local political subdivision

    • Voter ID card issued by the Department of Elections

    • Voter confirmation documents

    • Valid tribal enrollment or other tribal ID Yes, if issued by one of the 11 tribes recognized by Virginia.

    • Recognized Tribes: Cheroenhaka (Nottoway), Chickahominy, Chickahominy Eastern Division, Mattaponi, Monacan, Nansemond, Nottoway, Pamunkey, Patawomeck, Rappahannock, and Upper Mattaponi.

    • Nursing home resident ID if issued by a government facility.

    • Current utility bill, bank statement, government check, or paycheck containing the name and address of the voter issued electronically or physically within the last 12 months

    • Any other current government document containing the name and address of the voter issued digitally or physically

    • Signed ID Confirmation Statemention

  • Virginia is a "no excuse state" meaning you don't need a reason to vote early by mail.

    1. Be a registered voter in the state of Virginia

    2. Complete the absentee ballot application online online OR print the PDF and mail/drop it off at your local registrar.

    3. Track your ballot on Ballot Scout to ensure it will arrive in time to be filled out and returned by close of polls on Election Day.

    4. Read through the candidate lists below, explore their websites, and ensure you're making an informed decision.

    5. Once received, fill out your ballot in accordance with the printed instructions on your ballot.

    6. Return your ballot by mail or drop it off in person at your local elections office.

    7. Track your ballot on Ballot Scout to ensure it will arrived by close of polls on Election Day.

      • If your local office hasn't recieved your ballot, reach out as soon as possible to fix any issues.

    8. Make sure all your friends, family, and neighbors have also voted in this election cycle.

    3. Ensure you have a proper voter ID as listed above OR be prepared to sign an affidavit, a legal document declaring truth, that you are who you say you are.

    4. Go to your county election office during regular business hours and cast your ballot.

    5. Ensure all your friends, family, and neighbors have, or plan to, cast a ballot in this upcoming election.

    1. Be a registered voter in Virginia. Check your status!

    2. Read through the candidate lists below, explore their websites, and ensure you're making an informed decision.

    3. Ensure you have a proper ID as listed above OR be prepared to sign an affidavit, legal document declaring truth, that you are who you say you are.

    4. Go to your local polling station between the hours of 6am - 7pm EST.

    5. Ensure all your friends, family, and neighbors have, or plan to, cast a ballot in this upcoming election.
